Getting a new puppy is an exciting and lovely time, but it also brings a lot of challenges!

This can mean a huge time investment. Not easy if have a job or family commitments that drag the whole process out – or a puppy with a lively character who doesn’t respond to your efforts.

What’s involved with the Essex puppy training service?
Basically, the Essex Dog Trainer team can work with your puppy to quickly develop important (lifelong) behaviours and skills. Without dampening their individual personality, and always with their welfare and happiness top priority.
You may want to let us handle just some of the puppy skills training. We could tackle the tricky stuff to keep your pup safe and your home free from ‘accidents’. Then, give you advice on the best way to train your puppy in other ways. So you can have fun getting them to sit, play with balls and roll over, for example.

However, we keep dogs under the age of 12 months apart, for individual puppy training courses. That way, we can match your goals and keep the young dog happy and focused.
The training takes place at our purpose-designed facilities and secure dog field. However, we are also happy to do individual puppy classes at your home. This is important if your puppy is not yet vaccinated but you want the expert dog training to begin immediately.

Also, the first few months of a dog’s life can be when ingrained personality traits and behaviours start to grow. We can protect their individual characters and welfare while steering them towards skills and behaviours that won’t get them into trouble!
