Big Dog Club
Both The Big Dog Club and the equivalent caring and nurturing service for smaller breeds too are based at our large, purpose-designed dog training centre in Chelmsford. Here, they will have everything they need for a great day out for dogs. Including a secure field for zoomies and socialisation with their friends.
Little Dog Club
The Essex Dog Trainer team can work with your puppy to quickly develop important (lifelong) behaviours and skills. Without dampening their individual personality and always with their welfare and happiness top priority.

What happens at the Dog Club?
Dog socialisation takes centre stage in our doggy day training—a pivotal component in a dog’s overall development.
Throughout our program, dogs engage with fellow companions, spanning various shapes and sizes, honing their manners and interpersonal skills with both dogs and humans alike. These lessons prove crucial for seamless park strolls and harmonious interactions with friends’ and families’ canine companions.
This can be a great source of reassurance if you need someone to look after your dog or puppy. Especially if previous experiences of kennels and daycare for dogs has not been good.
Nervous and shy smaller dogs are particularly nurtured by our expert team, and we can help them gain greater confidence – and their own little friends!
We would be delighted to show you how that can be applied to everyday life beyond daycare too. It’s the sort of dog training that enables you to welcome other dogs to your home, or enjoy calmer visits to the park, for example.
During their stay at the Dog Club, your canine companion will partake in a day of obedience training facilitated by our skilled trainers.
This encompasses fundamental commands, focus-building exercises, and the art of relaxation. It’s a crucial aspect of our services, ensuring a well-rounded experience for your furry friend.
Additionally, we offer outings to the beach, country park, and high street, providing a diverse and enjoyable environment whilst practicing the new skills learnt
Also not to be forgotten, our Dog Club is a great way for you to give your dog a great day, whilst you get some well deserved time off. Whether it be to spend time with loved ones without a crazy dog, or to have your own day out!
Dogs are social creatures by nature, and timid, vocal or even challenging dog is often simply anxious. They can find being around other animals stressful and their natural instinct is to be protective by snarling, snapping and cowering, for example.
Our Dog Club in Essex works with the individual dog to overcome anxiety, and help them to become calm and relaxed with other small dogs. (We can even introduce them to larger breeds at our Big Dog Club if that’s something you want!)
The end result is a pet that’s happier, calmer and less anxious. Who comes home from their specialist small breed daycare tired out from playing with their new friends.
We can also work on other behaviours and issues, while your small dog receives lots of attention and support at daycare.
